McDonough County Sheriff Rick VanBrooker and Macomb Police Chief Curt Barker report the arrest of Kevin C. Corridon, age 26, of Macomb.
Corridon was arrested by Macomb Police and the F.B.I. at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29th, and charged with Felony Disorderly Conduct. He was arrested at his residence located at 116 North Side Square in Macomb. The arrest took place without incident and no weapons were found within the residence. Corridon is accused of generating a threat of a mass shooting that was to occur in McDonough County on March 29th.
Corridon is lodged in the McDonough County Jail pending his first court appearance. The investigation is continuing and more charges may be filed.
ALL SUSPECTS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
